The island’s Saint Lucia Tourism Authority has introduced again former CEO Louis Lewis as its new CEO, succeeding outgoing chief govt Lorine Charles-St. Jules.
Louis had beforehand served as director of tourism at what was then generally known as the Saint Lucia Vacationer Board for 9 years by 2017.
Lewis most lately served as CEO of the Tobago Tourism Company Restricted.
Lewis stated the return to Saint Lucia “permits me to return to my roots,” he stated in a press release to Caribbean Journal.
“My focus will likely be on deepening our connection to the tourism commerce, enhancing our vacation spot’s enchantment, and enriching the customer expertise,” he stated.
In a press release, Saint Lucia Tourism Authority Chairman Thaddeus M. Antoine stated the board was “excited to welcome Louis to the helm.”
“His intensive expertise and confirmed monitor file make him the perfect chief for our subsequent part of tourism growth. We’re assured in his potential to navigate the challenges and alternatives that lie forward,” he stated.
