JetBlue’s highly-anticipated entry into St Vincent now has a begin date, Caribbean Journal has discovered.
The New York Metropolis-based provider is launching its first-ever flights between New York-John F. Kennedy Worldwide Airport and St Vincent starting on Oct. 9, the corporate confirmed.
The brand new route, which is now on sale, will likely be operating twice weekly, with service on Wednesdays and Sundays.
“The federal government and other people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines are thrilled to welcome JetBlue to the place we name residence! This new service provides comfort, consolation, and distinctive service to guests to our numerous vacation spot,” stated Carlos James, Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Growth and Tradition for St Vincent and the Grenadines, in a press release supplied to Caribbean Journal.
It’s no coincidence that the service is coming to St Vincent only a few months after Sandals opened its brand-new Sandals Saint Vincent resort, which has led to a surge in demand for the island.
JetBlue VP David Jehn stated the brand new route was a part of a “technique to serve underserved routes.”
The brand new service will assist join New York to the sought-after assortment of resorts within the Grenadines, together with the world-renowned Palm Island resort.
