A high all-inclusive lodge in Saint Lucia has closed to start a $1.5 million refurbishment undertaking, Caribbean Journal has discovered.
The East Winds resort shall be closing in August and September to refurbish and redecorate all of its 26 superior and deluxe rooms. That can even see the addition of latest loos for the superior rooms.
Subsequent yr, the resort will start refurbishments of its oceanfront rooms and its oceanfront suite.
That’s together with a redesign of the pool space and provision of latest mushy furnishings for the restaurant and bars on the resort.
To assist lead the refurbishment push, the property has tapped Olivier Bottois as its new basic supervisor. Bottois isn’t any stranger to the island, having spent 5 years at Soufriere’s Ladera resort.
The “new-look” East Winds will reopen in October.
