Extremely-low-cost service Avelo, which at first phases of a broader Caribbean growth, is doubling its flights to San Juan, Puerto Rico, Caribbean Journal has discovered. 

The airline, which is working the one service between New Haven, Conn. and Puerto Rico with its Tweed Airport-Luis Munoz Marin Worldwide Airport flights, is doubling its frequency to Stan Juan starting in November. 

The growth will formally take impact on Nov. 8, the corporate confirmed. 

That may imply 4 flights per week between New Haven and San Juan, with service on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. 

Earlier this yr, the service introduced plans to launch new nonstop flights from Tweed to each Montego Bay, Jamaica and Cancun, Mexico.
