Rewilding Europe has simply moved to a brand new head workplace on the outskirts of Nijmegen, which has fittingly been named “Wild Quarters”. Surrounded by nature, this new and galvanizing area is the beginning of a brand new chapter for Rewilding Europe, positioning us properly to speed up the scaling up of rewilding throughout Europe.

Room to develop

Rewilding Europe is delighted to announce that it has moved to “Wild Quarters” – our new head workplace – on the verdant outskirts of the Dutch metropolis of Nijmegen. Surrounded by lush woodlands, and near numerous Dutch rewilding websites, similar to these on the floodplains of the Rhine and Meuse rivers, the situation enjoys a profound reference to nature. The constructing housing the workplace, which is a nationwide monument, has been extensively renovated to remodel it into an inspiring workspace. Wild Quarters was formally declared open on September 12.

Since Rewilding Europe was based in 2011, we’ve got transitioned from an formidable concept into an influential and impactful organisation, working to understand large-scale nature restoration throughout Europe. An exquisite location

Till lately, Rewilding Europe’s work was coordinated from an workplace on the Radboud College campus in Nijmegen. However with our operations increasing, discovering a brand new workplace with more room grew to become a necessity. Wild Quarters is situated only a kilometre away from the previous workplace, within the village of Heilig Landstichting, within the municipality of Berg en Dal.

Wild Quarters, which is located on a forested ridge, embodies a deep reference to nature.
