Philadelphia OURfest: Nationwide Coming Out Parade and Pageant is open to all, particularly LGBTQ+ members and allies.
OURfest (standing for Our Uniting Resilience) formally begins with kick-off occasions on Friday, October 6, 2023 — and the festivities solely ramp up over the weekend.
Parade
OURfest’s Nationwide Coming Out Parade takes place on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 4 to six p.m. The historic celebration begins at fifth & Market streets and flows to Broad & Locust streets.
The parade includes a collection of LGBTQ+ floats, dwell performances, and sections for pioneers and group leaders, youth and households, native organizations, sports activities and recreation, drag artists and extra.
Plus, prepare for the return of the record-breaking 200-foot Progress Satisfaction flag, initially debuted on the Satisfaction March & Pageant this previous June.
Pageant
The occasion continues the following day with the OURfest Nationwide Coming Out Pageant and Useful resource Honest, happening all throughout the Gayborhood on Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 12 to 7 p.m.
