APAC: Hospitality software program supplier Agilysys has launched the findings of its 2024 APAC Hospitality Impression Examine, which highlights untapped income potential for hoteliers.

Agilysys surveyed greater than 1,000 travellers from Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and Singapore about their preferences and spending habits. 

The examine revealed that 68 per cent of APAC travellers would improve their lodge spending for personalised experiences, with 73 per cent keen to pay as much as 30 per cent extra for room upgrades when supplied post-booking. 

Moreover, 66 per cent of respondents would probably spend extra if wait instances have been decreased throughout all lodge experiences, and 68 per cent would improve spending when a loyalty program is in place. 

Regardless of excessive satisfaction ranges (86 per cent) and perceived worth for cash (61 per cent), solely 37 per cent of travellers have returned to the identical lodge.

Marshall added: “To maximise profitability, hoteliers should leverage superior property administration methods that present real-time, data-driven insights into visitor preferences. By adopting a RevPAG focus, resorts can unlock hidden income streams, improve visitor satisfaction, and foster long-term loyalty within the aggressive APAC market.”
