What to Count on
ArtPhilly is a motion connecting Philadelphia’s acclaimed arts and tradition neighborhood via ongoing creative programming, commissions of unique work and — the primary occasion — a serious recurring citywide artwork competition that includes over 30 performances, exhibitions and initiatives.
The entire of Philadelphia’s arts neighborhood comes collectively to supply the multidisciplinary competition, together with premier establishments just like the Philadelphia Museum of Artwork and Mural Arts; community-based organizations, like Theatre within the X and Asian Arts Initiative; and seasoned artists and curators, like curatorial director Tania Isaac, producer and performer King Britt, and the director of Philadelphia Dance Tasks Terry Fox.
Happening at iconic Philly museums, landmarks and venues, the jam-packed slate of programming displays the vibrancy and variety of Philly’s cultural scene with musical concert events, theatrical exhibits, dance performances, visible artwork reveals and new museum experiences.
