On World Tourism Day, September twenty seventh, 2024, Belize hosted the first-ever World Sustainable Journey and Hospitality Awards (WSTHAs). Created by the founders of the World Journey Awards, the WSTHAs serve to acknowledge the movers and shakers on the planet of sustainable tourism, from complete locations to companies and organizations. The inaugural occasion featured a gala ceremony held at Oakridge Venues in Spanish Lookout and noticed hospitality stakeholders from throughout the globe acknowledged for his or her work. The Winners of the Inaugural World Sustainable Journey and Hospitality Awards 

The winners of this 12 months’s WSTHAs run the gamut from an indigenous-owned chocolate-making firm to a multinational luxurious resort group. Classes included World’s Main Sustainable Group, awarded to Inexperienced Initiative, a world local weather certification and advisory companies firm. In the meantime, Mandarin Oriental Resort Group walked away with three awards, together with World’s Main Sustainable Growth 2024.
