US: Hospitality group Bunkhouse will opens its first Houston property, Lodge Saint Augustine, in mid-November this 12 months.

Lodge Saint Augustine is a new-build property with 71 rooms and suites unfold throughout 5 small buildings over two flooring. Facilities embody an all-day restaurant, foyer bar, occasion area, and round courtyard pool.

The lodge has been designed by Publish Firm in collaboration with Bunkhouse, with structure by Texas agency Lake | Flat and panorama structure by lauded Texas studio Ten Eyck. The property is related by open-air bridges and porches to mix in with the residential Montrose neighbourhood.

Houston chef and restaurateur Aaron Bludorn alongside  front-of-house companion and director of operations Cherif Mbodji will oversee the lodge’s meals and beverage venues, together with the occasion areas.

Final 12 months, Bunkhouse revealed it would develop a second lodge in Houston – Lodge Daphne – which is schedule to open in early 2025. The property provide 47 rooms and suites, an all-day restaurant, floor flooring bar and lounge, courtyard, pool and pool bar, library, and foyer retail store. 

Along with Texas (Houston, Austin and San Antonio), Bunkhouse operates in California (San Francisco), Kentucky (Louisville) and Mexico (Todos Santos and Mexico Metropolis). With the opening of Lodge Saint Augustine, the Bunkhouse lodge portfolio will stand at 11.
