The brand new nonstop service will probably be working 3 times per week, with flights on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The launch comes as Avianca kicks off one other main New York route in June, with nonstop service to a different surging Caribbean vacation spot: Cartagena on the Caribbean coast of Colombia.
