Quick-growing Dominican airline Arajet is including one other route inside the Caribbean, Caribbean Journal has realized.
The native provider, which simply introduced plans to launch flights from Miami to Punta Cana in June, will probably be including a nonstop route between San Juan, Puerto Rico and Santo Domingo.
The brand new service will really be taking off earlier, with service beginning on June 5, in line with the corporate.
The plan is to ultimately add flights between New York and the Dominican Republic, in line with Arajet CEO Victor Pacheco.
“Starting US operations with flights from these cities is the following step towards realizing our imaginative and prescient of the DR as a brand new journey hub of the continent,” he instructed Caribbean Journal.
“That is the start of our US operations, and these routes will increase tourism in our area, making it simpler for vacationers to find our nation.”
So what about costs?
Arajet says it’s providing opening fares of about $84 every manner.
