Low-cost service Solar Nation Airways is ramping up its Caribbean flight this winter, Caribbean Journal has realized.
And the growth is targeted in a single Midwestern metropolis: Milwaukee.
On Dec. 26, the airline added its first-ever flights from Milwaukee to Punta Cana within the Dominican Republic, with service on Tuesdays and Sundays.
Subsequent month, Solar Nation might be launching flights from Milwaukee to Jamaica’s tourism hub of Montego Bay, with flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Each flights might be working twice weekly, though the Punta Cana route will ramp as much as 4 instances each week in late January.
That’s together with augmented service to Cancun, which might be flying day by day of the week.
So what about costs?
The Milwaukee-Punta Cana flight has costs beginning at $682.39 in January, in accordance with Solar Nation’s web site.
The Montego Bay flight will run you about $519.24 roundtrip.
