New boutique lodges just like the Pink Palm. Non-public-island locations like Lovango. A remodeled Charlotte Amalie. A reborn Frenchman’s Reef.

The US Virgin Islands was already the largest success story of the post-pandemic period within the Caribbean. Now, it’s rising to even greater heights.

With across-the-board progress in St Thomas, St Croix and St John, abroad vacationer arrivals to the US Virgin Islands proceed to surge, in accordance with a brand new report.

Maho Bay in St John, USVI.

The report from analytics agency ForwardKeys and the Caribbean Resort and Tourism Group exhibits arrivals to the USVI up a whopping 18 % within the first half of 2024.

That’s one of many highest progress charges within the Caribbean, and much more spectacular when you think about how far the vacation spot outpaced the remainder of the area for a lot of the pandemic period.

That comes as new flights proceed to emerge for the territory (together with a quickly strengthening air hall between San Juan and the USVI each on native carriers like Fly the Whale and large airways like Frontier), new lodges debut (just like the aforementioned Pink Palm and the dramatically rebuilt Frenchman’s Reef dual-resort advanced) and the vacation spot’s tourism power simply retains getting hotter.
